Hi! I am an independent illustrator, based in Amsterdam. I started drawing when I was little and never stopped. Nature, memories, art and culture, animals, and good conversations are big sources of inspiration. My work is very detailed, handdrawn mostly with (colored) pencil.

I love collaborating with other creatives, allowing my drawings to leave the paper and take three-dimensional form, from jewellery to store-windows to children's clothing. My luck doesn't end there, I've had the chance to illustrate and design several books, a travel guide and a creative DIY book (which I also wrote). My first children's book, an illustrated story about a shy little girl, finding her way into the world is in stores now!

Having spend a year as creative director at digital agency Booreiland, I know how to structure a project, lead a team and turn an idea into an exciting concept. This is great because it compliments my illustrative work and you don't have to work out your ideas, we can actually do it together.

Currently I am also a lecturer at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool van Amsterdam), transferring my knowledge to Communication and Creative Business students.

Clients include Het Parool, The Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Omoda and Brandt & Levie. I created a hand-drawn animation for De Wereld Draait Door, and appeared on VTwonen, making a custom window-drawing.
