For Dutch tv show 'De Wereld Draait Door' I made this hand drawn animation. During the monthly item where the 'Book of the month' is selected it was broadcast live on television. The book (The truth about the Harry Quebert affair - Joël Dicker) felt a bit like a 'whodunnit' movie, so I approached the animation a bit as if it were a trailer for the book to express the suspense of the book but without revealing 'who did it'. I hope those who have read the book will recognise the little details I put in, such as Caleb Luther's paint brushes or the sound of flying seagulls around Harry's house. See the tv item below.
